Dr Oscar Serrallach enjoys being at the cutting edge of wellness medicine. Oscar did his medical training in New Zealand, graduating in 1996 and has been practising medicine in Australia for over 15 years. Previously, Oscar has worked in diverse areas such as Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry, Aboriginal Mens Health, Remote Medicine and from 2001-2003 worked in Ballina in Emergency Medicine. Oscar lived and worked in Nimbin from 2003 – 2011, where his role in the community was a blend of Emergency Medicine and General Practice.

In 2006, Oscar started a family with his life companion and partner Caroline, and now has three beautiful children. Feeling rather underwhelmed after finishing his GP specialist training in 2008, and having children with allergy issues, he decided to fully focus on his passion of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (NEM). In 2011, Oscar moved to the beach with his family and started the Mullumbimby Integrative Medical Centre.

Oscar is currently finishing a Fellowship in NEM through ACNEM (Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine) and is contributing to the world of NEM by being on the board of ACNEM as well as editing the ACNEM journal.

Oscar feels proud to be heading such an incredible team of practitioners at the Mullumbimby Integrative Medical Centre and loves combining a healthy family life with a healthy work life.
